Our Commitment
E&E Media Services LLC is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and services on the web, and we work to ensure our website meets or exceeds applicable accessibility standards.
Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the current W3C recommended standard (published October 2023, ISO standard October 2025). These guidelines address a wide range of accessibility needs, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
What We Have Done
We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility on our website:
Navigation and Interaction
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements on our website can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone, including navigation menus, forms, and buttons.
- Focus indicators. Visible focus outlines appear on all interactive elements when navigating with a keyboard, so users always know where they are on the page.
- Skip navigation. A "Skip to content" link is provided at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and go directly to the main content.
- Mobile menu. The mobile navigation menu includes proper focus management, keyboard trapping to prevent focus from escaping the open menu, and Escape key support to close it.
- Touch targets. Interactive elements meet minimum touch target sizes of 24×24 pixels as recommended by WCAG 2.2.
Content and Structure
- Semantic HTML. We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements to ensure screen readers can interpret and navigate our content correctly.
- Alternative text. Images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images and icons are marked with
aria-hidden="true"so screen readers skip them. - Video captions and transcripts. Video content on our website includes captions and, where feasible, text transcripts to ensure accessibility for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors.
Visual Design
- Color contrast. Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the minimum contrast ratios specified by WCAG 2.2 Level AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Reduced motion. Users who have enabled "Prefer reduced motion" in their operating system settings will see all animations and transitions disabled across our website.
Components
- Carousel controls. Our homepage carousel includes visible pause and play controls, allowing users to stop auto-advancing content at any time.
- Form accessibility. All form fields have associated labels, clear error messages, and visible focus states.
Performance and Privacy
- Self-hosted fonts. Web fonts are served from our own servers, eliminating third-party requests and improving both performance and privacy.
Testing
We test our website for accessibility using a combination of methods:
- Automated testing with axe DevTools and WAVE
- Manual keyboard navigation testing on every page
- Screen reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows)
- Testing at various zoom levels (up to 200%)
- Testing with browser extensions that simulate different types of color blindness
- Touch target size verification on mobile devices
Known Limitations
While we work to ensure comprehensive accessibility, some areas may still have limitations:
- Some older content or third-party embedded content (such as embedded videos from external platforms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
- PDF documents, if any are linked from this site, may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible alternatives where possible.
- Third-party widgets or integrations may have their own accessibility limitations outside our direct control.
We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining accessibility barriers.
