The McCarthy Center hired E&E to cover the 19th Annual Eugene J. McCarthy Lecture with former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. We were on-site for the whole evening: the pre-lecture reception, Sullivan’s remarks, and the student-led discussion after.
Three cameras ran on the talk itself. We picked up B-roll with Sullivan during the reception, then cut two pieces from the same shoot: a short montage the McCarthy Center uses on social and in promotional material, and a full-length recording of the lecture that lives on their YouTube channel and event archive.
Everything was handled in-house: shot, edited, color-graded, mixed, delivered. Client notes turned around the next day.
We came back for the 20th McCarthy Lecture with David Brooks in October 2026, and that time the director switched all three cameras live.
